Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.   A growing manufacturer of Custom Displays and Fixtures for the merchandising industry is seeking to hire a Senior Project Engineer to design products and systems of diverse scope and complexity. This will entail creating customer requirements in to functional design specifications, 3D models and then physical models. Develop and generate detailed design documentation including detail drawings, and bill of material structures.   REQUIREMENTS   BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience of 12+ years in engineering product design in a team-based environment. MS in Engineering or technical field preferred. Seeking candidates that have excellent conceptual, technical and design skills and a thorough knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing methods. Minimum 5 years 3D (Solid Modeling) CAD design experience. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experienced Solidworks / Creo experience preferred. Must be able to take projects from conception through completion Meet deadlines and stay within budget. Should have experience with different manufacturing processes and material types.  Seeking candidates that have broad knowledge of engineering principles coupled with innovation and creativity Must have the ability to write concise fact-based reports, including internal procedures. Must have prior experience designing products for merchandising displays or (POP) Point-Of Purchase or Trade Show exhibits. Summary of Duties:   Work with customers regarding product requirements to conceptualize and design new products. Generate proactive solutions to meet requirements and/or requests. Execute all assigned design, development, and related technical tasks for the implementation of new products.   Develop conceptual and detailed designs by analyzing product and performance specifications while considering pertinent design factors such as manufacturing capability, availability of materials, and cost. Perform diverse and complex design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subsystems, and systems by applying engineering principles to evaluate designs and determine critical components. Perform necessary engineering calculations to meet product specifications and ensure proper product function and reliability. Prepares product or system layout and detailed component and assembly drawings, ensuring clarity, completeness, form, fit, functionality, and conformity to standards.   Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.   No Sponsorship Available. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
