Entry Level - Skilled CNC Machine Operator
Our client located in Streetsboro is currently seeking ENTRY-LEVEL to SKILLED CNC Operators. We currently have three levels based on job experience.
Compensation: $13.00-25.00 based on experience
Hours:
2nd shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:30am

Job Description:
Level 1
o Basic shop math
o Basic computer skills
o Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometer, and dial indicator
o Able to operate machine tool, with engineering support and training, to produce high-quality product to customers' specifications
o Able to change cutting tools
o Able to operate pallet jack and tow motor
o Able to inspect parts to verify that print and process specifications are being met
Education/Experience Required
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Trade school or other certification pertaining to the precision machining industry
Level 2
o Mastery of all skills required for CNC Technician Level 1
o Above-average knowledge of and able to use and apply precision machining cutting tools
o Independently able to operate machine tool to produce high-quality product to customers' specifications
o Able to set up CNC per documented instructions utilizing standard work holding and tooling and existing fixtures
o Able to adjust fixture and tooling offsets to maintain part quality and size
o Able and willing to operate more than one machining center
Education/Experience Required
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Trade school or other certification pertaining to the precision machining industry
Level 3
o Mastery of all skills required for CNC Technician Level 2
o Able to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineered drawings
o Able to program CNC parts
o Able and willing to proficiently operate multiple spindles (more than one machining center) and operate all or most of the following machines: VMC, HMC, 4th axis mill, 5 axis and lathe
o Able to write and edit CNC part programs to optimize tooling and processes
o Able and willing to train/ assist less experienced operators
Education/Experience Required
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Trade school or other certification pertaining to the precision machining industry
o Minimum experience of 5 years set-up and operation of CNC machines
Requirements:
o Must have own transportation to and from work, with valid driver's license
o Must pass pre- employment drug screen and National background check
