Quality Engineer

Great manufacturing company in the Streetsboro area is currently hiring for a Quality Engineer! This is a full-time position that pays $18 to $20 per hour to start with amazing growth potential!!

Summary:
The Quality Engineer, under the supervision of the Quality Director, will be responsible for implementing the quality system developed by management. Heads the APQP process to ensure lessons learned are applied to new processes and reviews current processes to assist production to ensure processes are stable and capable. Participates in inspection activities and recommends improvement ideas. Assists the Quality Director in special projects and performs other administrative duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
- Examines machine-made metal components for defects
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Determines quality and reliability standards by studying drawings and formulas
- Maintains product quality documentation system by writing or rewriting quality assurance procedures
- Maintains Quality Assurance Operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Reviews the condition of inspection equipment and assures it is fit for use. This includes initiating request for calibration and maintenance as well as performing calibrations and gauge reliability
- Assist production in determining proper set-up and maintenance/repair issues
- Investigates customer complaints and initiates corrective actions
- Develops and maintains control plans and work instructions for production
- Verifies engineering changes and ensures that they are distributed to the appropriate departments
- Updates and corrects control plans after management review and approval
- Distributes control plans and data
- Records production inspection data using SPC software and specialized equipment
- Travels to customer's facility to perform specified corrective action and to assist the Quality Director
- Trains inspectors and production personnel in inspection methods and completion of quality records
- Participates in Continuous Improvement Efforts based on data from Core team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) and/or two to four years related experience
- Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others
- Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
- Ability to organize and direct a project to completion
- Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one's conduct
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems
- Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information

- Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
